Once again… HUGE props to the ladies throwin up that weight! Thanks, MD, for pushing me to go just a little heavier… I’ll get there one day
Ya props to MJ & Joey for telling me to do the weight!
A short but worth it WOD! Good luck to Sparta at the Savage Race tomorrow!
May I make a motion to have more of these kind of WODs?!?!? Love this workout and props to everyone throwing around that heavy weight.
Good luck to everyone running the Savage Race tomorrow!!!!! Do Sparta proud and kill it!
Huh?! The Savage race is tomorrow???!!
Love this WOD. I know I seemed out of it to some but the heavy weight WOD’s are an awesome switch up. Massey: you killed it. So. Lol. Dana: still smh. Your 2012 self can chill. Just sayin. Haha.
This looks fun… Massey, good work man. That’s a lot in 20 minutes.
Good luck to everyone running the Savage race! Make us proud.
One thing about this list -- the crazy thing is that from a rep count, there’s the top 4 and everyone else. It’s not a knock on everyone but rather, based on my observation from 6 months ago (wow, it’s already been 6 months!?)…
Massey, Katie, and MJ were always ones that stuck around after the WODs to do a “little” extra. I always saw them lifting weights, working on stuff, etc to improve. I know a lot of people do that with the pull ups, running etc and I think everyone recognizes their improvement. But because these three (KOS, you’re a different story because you’re just a beast/machine/terminator lol) are always near the top, people just assume they are in a different category. And maybe so. But I do know that they work their asses off to be where they are consistently on the list. It’s just cool that on a workout like this, the stuff that they work on translates into results.
All I know is that looking at this site/list everyday gives me the extra motivation to push a little harder, lift a little heavier, and suck it up a little bit more.
Keep up the good work everyone. Even when I’m not there, you all inspire me to do better.
PS Black dynamite! So proud of you. You’ve come a long way.
Thanks Alan…one love!
Oh and sorry if my post offended anyone. I know that KOS is not a big fan of calling out names because that usually leaves some people off the list and that’s not cool. But I had to say it. Plus I’m like 1500 miles away so I felt safe enough.
Thank you Alan!! Hard work does pay off! I have been working specifically on my lifts for over a year now and this wod shows just how far I’ve come. I wouldn’t have even dreamed of doing this wod at 115 lbs a year ago let alone being top of the list! Super happy!
